In 2025, I published my first novel, Side Effects, a gritty cyberpunk thriller. The original cover image was generated using Midjourney. Although this provided a great starting point, I undertook editing work to the image using other generative AI tools, as well as traditional photoshop techniques. The typography was done
Video trailer
To promote the novel, I created a 60 second video trailer. I started with Midjourney images of key scenes and characters from the novel. These were edited and then put through Kling Ai, which animated them. The clips were assembled in Premiere Pro with original music created in Logic Pro, and motion graphics created in After Effects.
Muscle Memory
As part of the promotional push for Side Effects, I released a stand-alone short story, Muscle Memory. The cover design reflects the styling of the novel.
